Francesca Bloom is a world-traveled student of the culinary arts and chef-by-practice who blends a passion for exceptional cuisine with a unique flair for improvisation that will bring happiness to the most discriminating palate.
Her culinary roots combine her family's traditional Southern cooking from rural Virginia with a childhood spent in Westchester County, NY enjoying the variety of local fast food, diners, and the upscale restaurants of Manhattan. She later spent nearly four decades traveling the globe for the US Government. With every posting and trip to over ninety countries across the US, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and most US states, Chef Fran was collecting unique flavors and experiences to share with you.
Chef Francesca refined her natural talent and love for cooking in culinary arts courses at local colleges over her various assignments. An avid gardener, Francesca augments her hand-selected ingredients with organically grown vegetables from her personal garden. Mrs. Bloom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Hawaii Pacific University and is a graduate of the prestigious Defense Logistics University.
A wife and mother of four with three granddaughters; she and her husband are both retired from the US Army. Her husband continues to work as a Department of the Army Civilian.
